Das Herz des IRP(Industrial Reference Platform) bildet ein Intel Atom Prozessor sowie ein ALTERA ARRIA FPGA, welcher via PCI Express angenunden ist um kundenspezifische Schnittstellen und Logik zu implementieren.
Das System basiert der Hpe Plattform, einem erweiterbaren Basebord mit einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Schnittstellenferent interfaces in einem strapazierbaren Gehäuse – ideal für Software Entwickler. Auf dem Basebord sitzt ein Qseven™ CPU Modul, 2 Child bord Steckplätzen für die Aufnahme kundenspezifischer Schnittstellen unf Logik. Für System Prototyping und Hardware Entwickler kann das Gehäuse problemlos für den Zugriff auf die Erweiterungs Ports geöffnet werden.
